When you register for SSV SmartPay, you will automatically be using our free ‘Basic’ plan. When a customer pays your business using SSV SmartPay, you receive the full payment amount instantly. We don’t hold any of your funds. Instead, your business will be charged the rate agreed on its account (usually 0.5% + VAT per transaction*).
All we charge is our unbeatably low transaction rates. If you choose to use Growth or Advanced add-ons, you’ll pay a monthly fee for those, but they can be cancelled anytime. There are no monthly service fees or hidden contracts with SSV SmartPay, and our pricing remains simple and transparent.
SSV SmartPay is free from hardware or rental costs. All you need is our smartphone app or dashboard on your desktop to accept payments. When you complete sign-up, we will send you an SSV SmartPay welcome pack with a QR stand for your business to get you up and running.
You can view your monthly statements by opening your SSV SmartPay app, selecting My Account, clicking Billing and Billing History, and then selecting the month you want to view. This will display any recent payments and estimated charges. Fees are collected by direct debit once a month.
